From October 28–30, 2026, SupplySide Global took place at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas. Over three days at booth 6511B, Natural Field welcomed roughly 55 visitors: 56% from the United States (about 31 visitors), 11% from Mexico, 9.5% from Brazil, and the remainder from Venezuela, Uruguay, Cameroon, India, South Korea, Italy and Türkiye. By customer type, end brands accounted for about 50%, OEMs 30% and distributors 20%, of which roughly 70% were new customers. Liposomes were the most-asked-about topic — about 45% of visitors raised them proactively — with questions concentrated on solubility, injectable suitability, and how the data is validated.

These figures tell two stories. First, North America remains the main battlefield for raw materials such as HMB, NMN and ashwagandha: US customers accounted for more than half, and most of them arrived with a clear formulation or purchasing plan. Second, Latin America proved more active than expected — Mexico and Brazil combined for over 20%, the supplement market in these regions is scaling up, and demand is stronger for suppliers who can offer finished-product solutions.
With 70% new customers, most conversations started from scratch: they did not know us, and could only judge by the brochures, samples and on-site Q&A at the booth.
Liposomes ranked first, mentioned by about 45% of customers. The questions were very specific: how water-soluble is it, can it be used for injection, and is there data to back the effect. These three questions are actually a way of confirming one thing — whether liposomes are real technology or just a packaged concept.
Water-soluble debittered ashwagandha ranked second; several customers explicitly mentioned stick packs. Stick packs place harsher demands on raw materials than capsules: fast dissolution, no sedimentation, and bitterness must be suppressed, or consumers will give up at the first sip.
Health Solution drew interest from several customers, who asked whether we can deliver a finished-product solution directly rather than a single ingredient.
Interest in NMN was divided: besides conventional anti-aging formulations, one customer explicitly asked whether it could be used in pet supplements. Creatine gummies, meanwhile, were praised by several visitors for their taste — on the show floor, this kind of feedback carries more weight than any specification sheet.

Customer Question |
Typical Supplier Answer |
Natural Field’s Answer |
|
Natural or synthetic? |
Verbal assurance of “natural” |
Source and process route disclosed; batch documents traceable |
|
How good is the solubility? |
A single solubility value |
Two paths offered: water-soluble debittered ashwagandha and co-loaded liposomes |
|
Are certificates complete? |
ISO only |
FSSC 22000, GMP workshop documents, CNAS test reports on file |
|
What is the lead time? |
Resold by traders; no firm lead time |
In-house plant quotes lead time by production schedule, traceable to process steps |
|
Can you do DDP or finished products? |
FOB only; ingredients only |
DDP quoted separately per destination port; finished products developable from existing proprietary formulas |
On “can it be injected”, we explained in tiers by intended use: food and dietary-supplement applications correspond to oral-grade liposomes, while injectable use involves medical-device/pharmaceutical-grade compliance and falls outside the same system, requiring separate evaluation. Clarifying the boundary builds trust more effectively than a vague promise.
On data validation, we responded on site with a four-tier chain: in vitro cellular uptake, in vivo pharmacokinetics, preclinical zebrafish models, and human clinical studies, with each program labeled by its current stage. When a customer asks “is there data”, we need to be able to say clearly “which tier of data”.

This was also the most visible difference at the show: customers came with basic questions such as “natural or synthetic”, “are certificates complete” and “can the lead time be fixed”, and few booths could produce documents and process explanations on the spot.
Sample track: sample requests registered on site have been organized by region, with liposomes and water-soluble debittered ashwagandha prioritized and shipped in batches in registration order.
Quotation track: DDP quotes are calculated separately by destination port and trade terms, listed apart from FOB quotes to prevent customers from comparing two different baselines; for the same ingredient, the landed-cost gap between different trade terms is often larger than the unit-price gap.
Solution track: for customers interested in Health Solution, we move into formula evaluation — confirming dosage form, target content and target market first, then delivering the solution.
The common premise of all three tracks is confirming the intended use first: the same ingredient requires different specifications and documentation for dietary supplements, pet food or general food. Asking about the use case up front saves repeated document requests later.
A:About 55 visitors in total, of which about 31 were from the United States, accounting for 56%.
A:Liposomes — about 45% of visitors asked proactively, focusing on water solubility, injectable suitability and data validation.
A:About 70% were new customers, which shows the show still delivers lead-generation value; it also means a more complete documentation system is needed to build first-time trust.
A:Yes. DDP is calculated separately by destination port; finished products can be developed based on existing platforms such as NF TriSolve?, or customized to the customer’s formula.
A:Samples and quotes are processed in registration order, while solution-type requests move into the formula-evaluation process; the specific timeline is confirmed by the account manager.
